The usage of bronze has a long history in a multitude of different areas. Due to its high wear resistance, the material is used preferably for products that face a heavy exposure. The high copper content of the red-brown alloy also makes the product antibacterial. That is why bronze is the ideal raw material for manufacturing fountain pens.

With the Kaweco Sport something special was created in 1911. A pocket fountain pen that only measured 10,5 cm when closed and therefore came in handy as an every day carry item. When placing the cap on the barrel, the pen measured 13 cm. Back in the days it was advertised for ladies, gentlemen and sportsmen.
Kaweco Bronze Sport is equipped by a steel nib with rhodium trim and fills ink via standard cartridges. You can also use bottled inks with the original Kaweco mini converter (sold separately).
