To celebrate MD Paper 15th Anniversary, the company invited 15 artists to get creative with the MD Notebook and enjoy the way you can write everywhere, even the cover. Then they created a special-edition MD Notebooks with the artists' illustrations and writing blind embossed on the covers.

WALNUT is a Japan-born, Tokyo-based illustrator. She travels the world and draws inspiration from the many different cultures she encounters, along with things she sees in her daily life. She creates collages and line drawings with a variety of media, from pens and paints to nail polish.

About the work for MD Paper, WALNUT said: "I focused on creating a sense of motion and power in my illustrations, to encourage users of my MD Notebook to express themselves and have fun!"
