Nishijin Kinran has been a part of celebration, fashion, and expression throughout Imperial Japan, dressing noblemen, samurai, and the societal elite.

It accepts until 8 pens in all dimensions with its inner size of 20 cm wide and 27 cm long. The size while open is 39 cm x 24 cm. As you can see from the picture you can put inside also an oversized pen like the Namiki Emperor.
