This Hobonichi A6 cover is made from a beautiful textile from the venerable fabric brand Liberty Fabrics. Michelle is a flower pattern launched in 1933 designed by artist “DS,” whose works also include Liberty Fabrics’ signature patterns Betsy and Wiltshire. It is sprinkled with flowers of various colors and shapes, such as pale pink, orange, vermilion, and other red tones, pale navy, sky blue, and other blue tones.

This cover is made with Liberty Fabric’s own “Tana Lawn” material, a meticulously processed cotton fabric with a soft, silken feel that offers prints in vibrant colors. The cover interior uses a soft material that almost feels like cotton. Hobonichi selected a blue-gray color that moderates the sweetness.
