Delta Gladiator Fountain Pen Ruthenium Limited Edition

The Delta Gladiator Ruthenium is a limited edition fountain pen from the Roma Aeterna collection, paying tribute to the gladiator and to the values of determination, discipline, honor and courage that have shaped his enduring legend. Entirely made in Italy, in Naples at the MAIORA workshops, this version interprets the Gladiator theme through a darker and bolder aesthetic.

The barrel is crafted from a special artistic resin created by Jonathon Brooks, founder of Carolina Pen Company. Its intense red shades evoke Roman legion standards, commanders' cloaks and imperial purple, while the warm sand-colored veins recall the travertine of the Colosseum, the stone of the Imperial Fora and the dust of the arena. Every resin rod features an unrepeatable pattern, making each pen unique.

The Ruthenium version creates a striking contrast between the red and sand-colored barrel and the black cap, grip section and end piece, complemented by precious ruthenium trims. Here too, the silhouette tells the story of the collection: the distinctive shape of the cap top recalls the helmet of a Roman gladiator, reinterpreted through the darker and more austere character of this version.

The reference to the arena continues with the central band decorated with a scene inspired by ancient mosaics depicting gladiators and the No. 6 steel nib, embellished with an engraving of a Roman gladiator helmet. Together with references to Verona Red marble and travertine, these elements create a design deeply rooted in the imagery of Ancient Rome.

Delta Gladiator features a Reservoir filling system with a 2 ml ink capacity. Its balanced proportions and meticulous hand-finishing complete a writing instrument crafted according to the finest Italian traditions.
