Adorned with the bright yellow blossoms of forsythia, IKKAKU by Nahvalur Ying-Chun captures the spirit of spring. Forsythia flowers are among the first to bloom as winter fades, symbolizing renewal, anticipation, and the vitality of new beginnings. Their vivid yellow color brings a burst of energy, promising warmer days ahead.

The design of this fountain pen is inspired by the ancient Chinese art of painting, known as "guó huà (国画)". This traditional style applies the same techniques used in Chinese calligraphy, employing a brush dipped in black ink or colored pigments. The artwork is typically performed on paper or silk, embracing natural themes and meticulous detail to express philosophical and seasonal concepts. This pen embodies that tradition technique.

Each pen is hand-painted using Chinese calligraphy brush and carefully sealed with clear laquer. Ikkaku Ying-Chun offers not just a tool for writing but a piece of cultural heritage. Only 24 pieces are available for this limited edition. Each pen is individually numbered on the clip. It is equipped with a 14k gold nib and fills ink via standard cartridge/converter.
