The fountain pen is equipped with a 14k gold nib with ebonite feed. It fills ink via a piston filler mechanism with 1.5 ml of ink capacity. Leonardo Cinquantesimo collection celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Matrone family's business and creativity in the writing instruments industry. In 1974 a young Ciro Matrone, then in his early twenties, began to take his first steps in the world of fountain pens, first as a specialized turner and then as production manager, immediately showing interest in the advanced mechanical systems connected to craftsmanship.
