Leonardo Supernova Primary Manipulation 5 with a 14k gold #8 nib is a fountain pen that celebrates expressive writing through exceptional craftsmanship and carefully curated materials.
The pen’s body is made of Primary Manipulation 5 resin, hand-poured by Jonathon Brooks, and completed with refined gold-plated trim. Each piece is one of a kind, showcasing the unique character of this premium material.
The 14k gold nib (#8) is paired with a red ebonite feed, offering smooth ink flow and a rich, fluid writing experience. This version introduces two new nib sizes: Extra Extra Fine (EEF), for extremely precise writing, and Double Broad (BB), perfect for bold, expressive lines.
The integrated piston filling system, designed and made by Leonardo, holds 1.5 ml of ink and can be fully disassembled using a dedicated tool (sold separately). A transparent ink window in the section allows easy ink level monitoring.
