The Leonardo x Stilo&Stile Momento Zero Kintsugi Blue was born from a simple yet profound idea: returning to the origins of the Japanese technique, to that fragile moment when a piece of pottery is still an assembly of broken parts waiting to be made whole again.
If last year’s Momento Zero Kintsugi told the story of the gold that binds, this new edition tells what comes before: the fragments. The broken pieces, the splinters, the irregular lines that hold the memory of the break.
Within the transparent resin, those fragments reveal themselves clearly: deep blue shards that resemble parts of a shattered vessel, suspended in the material as if time had paused just an instant before reconstruction. It is the same kintsugi story, but seen from the opposite side. Not the gold that repairs, but the matter that waits to be joined.
And it is precisely this image of suspended fragments that creates a natural parallel with who we are: the result of countless parts, experiences, and moments that build and define us. It is not the absence of fractures that makes us whole, but the way each element finds its place along our path. In this sense, the Kintsugi Blue becomes a discreet tribute to individual strength, to the ability to shape one’s own fragmentation into identity.
To honor this balance, every detail has been carefully designed. The blue metal trims echo the color of the fragments, while the blue steel nib engraved with the Stilo&Stile logo creates perfect continuity between form and writing. The rotating clip wheel, handcrafted using the same material as the body, becomes the meeting point between technique and poetry, a quiet detail that completes the character of the pen.
