Leonardo x Stilo&Stile Momento Zero Grande Fountain Pen Micarta Limited Edition

The result of a collaboration between Leonardo Officina Italiana and Stilo&Stile, this is a new interpretation of the iconic Momento Zero, crafted in the body of the Momento Zero Grande and made from one of the most fascinating and technical materials ever used in a fountain pen: Micarta.

The Leonardo x Stilo&Stile Momento Zero Grande Micarta is turned from solid bars of Micarta Canvas CE, made by layering canvas soaked in phenolic resin, then baked and pressed. Originally developed for the aerospace and railway industries, this material is known for its exceptional resistance to impact, weathering, and deformation. Each pen tells a unique story, as micarta evolves with use, developing a one-of-a-kind patina over time.

This version features dark micarta and a steel #6 nib engraved with the Stilo&Stile logo. Exclusively for this project, three special stacked nibs handcrafted by nib specialist Jose Munuera are also available:

• Graph Stacked: writes like a Fine on the regular side and produces broad strokes in reverse writing. Ideal for switching styles instantly.
• Chem Stacked: inspired by the Architect nib, it features an anatomical shape that varies line width depending on the writing angle.
• Arch Stacked: custom-designed for this pen, it combines a mini stub on the regular side and an architect nib in reverse— a versatile hybrid for creative writing styles.

The pen features a built-in piston filling system and a black resin grip section engraved “Leonardo x Stilo&Stile”, designed to avoid direct ink contact with the micarta during filling. Its minimalist design, free of decorative rings, enhances the tactile appeal of micarta and highlights every detail.
