The fountain pen is made of abalone and eggshells which are fitted onto the body of the pen to create the "frozen" effect, depicting the beauty of winter.
It takes several months to complete the hand-laid Maki-e technique, Raden and Rankaku, on the hand polished ebonite barrel of the Taccia Miyabi Empress Winter Breath Limited Edition. Also the clip has been decorated with the Rankaku Maki-e technique.
This fountain pen is fitted with a significant 18 KT gold "King of Pen" nib made by Sailor. It accepts only original Sailor converter and cartridges.
The grip section is hand-painted with a signature from the artist and its serial number. Limited edition to 288 pieces worldwide.
