The Taccia Flowers of the Four Seasons Asagao is a fountain pen that pays tribute to the fleeting beauty of summer through the delicate morning glory flower, known in Japan as Asagao. Opening at sunrise and fading by midday, the Asagao is often used in haiku poetry as a symbol of transience and the passing of time.
The barrel is decorated using an advanced painting technique officially recognized by the Kawaguchi Chamber of Commerce. Its textured surface provides a unique tactile experience that cannot be replicated through printing or transfer methods—a rough yet remarkably pleasant finish to hold.
The Taccia Asagao is fitted with a high-quality stainless steel nib made by Sailor, offering smooth and reliable writing. It fills via proprietary Sailor cartridges or converter (a converter is included in the box).
A poetic homage to nature and impermanence, captured in a refined and meaningful writing instrument.
