After the great success of Taccia Ukiyo-e fountain pen inks, the Japanese company is proud to introduce a collection of fountain pens inspired by the most popular prints from Japan: Taccia Ukiyo-e Urushi.
The first series includes three hand-made fountain pens by local Urushi maker artists. Every pen is inspired by Hokusai and from the color of Taccia fountain pen ink made with his opera.
Taccia Ukiyo-e Hokusai Red Urushi design came from the scabbard of Japanese Samurai sword. It is a perfect cylindric made with precious and high-quality ebonite. The red shade between silver and gold powders is the Taccia Benitsuchi ink color from the opera "Fine Breezy Day" of Hokusai.
The fountain pen is fitted by a 14 KT gold nib made by Sailor with the Taccia logo. The pen in fact accepts only original Sailor converter and cartridges.
It comes with a wood box and a printed sleeve with the Hiroshige opera. The box contains fountain pen, Taccia Ukiyo-e Hokusai Benitsuchi ink bottle and a Kimono pen wrap for 1 pen.
