Ohkunoshima is located off the south coast of Tadanoumi in Takehara City. This island had been erased from the map because it was a production site for poison gas during the wartime. Today, more than 700 wild rabbits inhabit the "rabbit paradise" and tourists from around the world visit the popular island. Though they are wild animals, the rabbits are friendly around people, relaxed and not bothered by being watched. This color represents their fluffy brown hair.
