The Lennon Tool Bar 2025 Taiwan Design Expo collection explores the relationship between color, thought, and history. Three fountain pen inks, each released as a limited edition of 400 pieces per color, connected to defining chapters of Changhua’s identity.
E Hua Shi takes its name from a historically charged expression. During the period of Japanese rule, Changhua was labeled a “land of corrupting ideas” due to its advocacy for equality, education, autonomy, and civic awareness. What was meant as an accusation became a badge of pride.
The people of Changhua embraced the term E Hua Shi, the City of Radical Thought. This ink pays tribute to that bold and transformative spirit, which continues to echo as an invitation to question, reflect, and create change.
