Nagasawa Kobe Monogatari Chapel Emerald is a fountain pen ink inspired by light and artistic beauty in the city of Kobe. The Kobe Ink Monogatari collection was created by the historic Nagasawa Bungu Center, a renowned Japanese stationery store founded in 1882, with the idea of expressing the places, landscapes, and cultural identity of Kobe through color.
The inks of the Kobe Monogatari series are developed by Nagasawa and produced in Japan, offering smooth writing, rich tones, and beautiful shading that enhance every stroke of the pen.
Chapel Emerald is the result of a collaboration with Kobe Shoin Women's University and is inspired by the university’s iconic chapel. Inside, 55 stained glass windows, created in 1981 by Etsuko Tachibana, depict biblical themes through light and color.
Throughout the day, natural light passes through the stained glass, creating ever-changing reflections that transform the space depending on the time and season.
This ink captures that atmosphere in a transparent and luminous emerald green, evoking the soft light filtered through colored glass. The shade is elegant and refined, bringing a delicate yet expressive presence to the page.
Nagasawa Kobe Monogatari Chapel Emerald is a sophisticated fountain pen ink, perfect for those who appreciate bright green tones and wish to bring a touch of light and artistry to their writing.
