The Gravitas Monster Filling System Tool is specifically designed for the maintenance and cleaning of the Gravitas Monster fountain pen filling system.
This tool allows you to safely unscrew the filling system assembly plate, giving access to the inside of the barrel for deep cleaning or for greasing the Quad Ring, an essential component for maintaining the proper performance of the filling mechanism.
The mechanism uses a standard thread direction: rotate counterclockwise to unscrew and clockwise to reassemble the filling system.
Gravitas recommends proceeding carefully and avoiding excessive force when tightening the assembly. Overtightening may damage the glue line of the upper metal section.
