The Platinum 3776 Century Fuji Unkei collection was created to celebrate the delicate harmony between Mount Fuji and the clouds that surround it. Following the success of the “Fuji Five Lakes” (2011–2016) and “Fuji Shunkei” (2017–2021) series, Platinum now introduces a new creative chapter that explores the majestic landscape of Mt. Fuji through ever more refined decorative techniques.
Kinu-Gumo, the third model in the series, is inspired by the beauty of cirrus clouds—thin, silky clouds that stretch across the sky like delicate threads. In Japanese, “Kinu-Gumo” means “silk clouds,” and this limited edition captures their ethereal quality through a sophisticated combination of guilloché engraving and V-blade engraving. By intentionally leaving areas of the surface unengraved, the pen creates a sense of openness and movement, evoking a true cloudscape in miniature.
Inside the top of the cap sits a tiny ornamental piece honoring Mount Fuji, the iconic symbol of the series. The individual serial number is engraved on the cap dome, adding a unique touch to each pen. Limited to 2500 pieces worldwide.
The pen is fitted with a smooth and reliable 14k gold nib and features a practical cartridge/converter filling system (both included).
The special edition packaging features graphics inspired by silk clouds and includes a 20ml bottle of Nishiki-Oru-Fuji ink—a rich shade inspired by the golden and vermilion hues of Japanese autumn foliage. Depending on the lighting, the ink reveals beautiful shimmering reflections that evoke a brocade of leaves at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
