The Wancher Dream Pen Celluloid Kingyo fountain pen celebrates Japanese tradition through one of the most iconic materials in the history of writing: celluloid. A collection that combines craftsmanship, culture, and innovation to create timeless writing instruments.

Crafted from modern celluloid (cellulose acetate), this fountain pen preserves the character of traditional celluloid while improving durability and stability. This plant-based material offers a warm, natural feel, adapting comfortably to the hand during writing.

The Kingyo colorway, meaning “goldfish” in Japanese, is one of the most iconic patterns in traditional celluloid. The pen features a striking blend of deep red tones and golden swirls, evoking the graceful movement of goldfish in water. A vibrant and dynamic pattern, appreciated in Japanese pens since the 1940s.

Each pen is crafted using the traditional “Roll Up” technique, a complex process mastered today by only a few artisans in Japan. This method gives every pen a unique structure and visual depth that cannot be replicated industrially.

The design is completed by an elegant 925 sterling silver ring, handcrafted in Shiga, adding a refined contrast to the vivid celluloid.

The pen is equipped with a stainless steel nib and a cartridge/converter filling system, ensuring a reliable and comfortable writing experience for everyday use.

A fountain pen that embodies history, color, and craftsmanship, designed for those who appreciate distinctive and meaningful writing instruments.
