The Wancher Dream Pen Celluloid Momiji fountain pen is a tribute to the beauty of Japanese nature and the timeless appeal of celluloid, reinterpreted through modern materials.
Crafted from modern celluloid (cellulose acetate), this fountain pen preserves the spirit of tradition while enhancing durability and performance. This plant-based material provides a warm, natural feel that adapts comfortably to the hand.
The Momiji colorway is inspired by the iconic Japanese maple leaves, a symbol of autumn and transformation. The pen features a rich interplay of red, orange, and golden tones, evoking the vibrant foliage and warm light of the season. A dynamic and expressive pattern that reflects deeply rooted elements of Japanese culture.
Unlike more traditional patterns, Momiji represents a new direction in celluloid design, made possible by next-generation materials. This allows for more complex and unique patterns, while maintaining the depth and character of classic celluloid.
Each pen is crafted using the traditional “Roll Up” technique, mastered today by only a few artisans in Japan, giving every piece a unique structure and visual depth.
The design is completed by an elegant 925 sterling silver ring, handcrafted in Shiga, offering a refined contrast to the vivid material.
Equipped with a stainless steel nib and a cartridge/converter filling system, it delivers a smooth and reliable writing experience.
A fountain pen that captures the warmth of Japanese autumn, turning every word into a gesture rich in color and meaning.
