Taccia Ukiyo-e Hokusai Aonibi is a fountain pen ink from the fourth edition of the Taccia Ukiyo-e collection, a series that interprets traditional Japanese art through colour. Inspired by the works of Katsushika Hokusai, one of the greatest Ukiyo-e masters of the Edo period, this collection pays tribute to his celebrated masterpiece Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji, where landscape, light and colour come together in timeless harmony.
Hokusai Aonibi takes its name from a traditional Japanese colour that blends blue with subtle grey tones. The result is a deep sea blue enriched with slate grey undertones, evoking calm waters, overcast skies and the quiet atmosphere of the coastal landscapes often depicted by Hokusai. Delicate shading gives the ink remarkable depth, making it both understated and highly expressive.
Elegant, balanced and versatile, Taccia Ukiyo-e Hokusai Aonibi is an excellent alternative to traditional blue inks. Its refined colour is ideal for everyday writing, journaling, sketching and creative work, offering excellent readability together with a distinctive personality that stands out on the page.
Water-based and developed in Japan, it comes in a 40 ml glass bottle. Like every ink in the Taccia Ukiyo-e collection, it combines artistic heritage with outstanding writing performance, turning every page into a tribute to Japanese aesthetics.
