Taccia Ukiyo-e Hokusai Bengara is a fountain pen ink from the fourth edition of the Taccia Ukiyo-e collection, a series that interprets traditional Japanese art through colour. Inspired by the works of Katsushika Hokusai, one of the greatest Ukiyo-e masters of the Edo period, this collection pays tribute to his celebrated masterpiece Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji, where landscape, light and colour come together in timeless harmony.
Hokusai Bengara takes its name from the traditional Japanese red ochre pigment that has long been used in architecture, decorative arts and painting. The ink features a warm reddish brown enriched with terracotta, copper and rust undertones, creating a deep, earthy colour with remarkable character. Its rich shading evokes natural materials and the timeless beauty of Japanese craftsmanship.
