The Gravitas Monster Dark Olive Grey fountain pen is not oversized, but carefully designed with well-studied proportions derived from the original Gravitas Vac. Every element has been refined to create a fountain pen that is balanced, comfortable, and visually coherent.

Its construction combines bead blasted anodized aluminium, optical grade acrylic, and 304 stainless steel, with targeted weight reduction to ensure a solid yet effortless feel. The Dark Olive Grey finish gives the Monster a restrained, technical, and contemporary character. Inside the cap, a Delrin inner sleeve ensures smooth capping, uncapping, and posting.

At the core of the design is the Kraken Filling System, a unique filling mechanism inspired by mechanical heart valves and developed by Ben Walsh. Originating from research into medical devices, this system differs from traditional vacuum fillers thanks to precision machining and a quad ring seal, ensuring reliable sealing, constant lubrication, and high filling efficiency, with an ink capacity of up to 6 ml.

The pen features a size 8 stainless steel nib, paired with an ebonite feed for a smooth, controlled, and responsive ink flow. Available nib sizes are Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, and Broad.

The section can be unscrewed to allow easy cleaning and maintenance of the filling system. Each Gravitas Monster Dark Olive Grey is delivered in a zippered carry case for safe storage and transport.
